Students
of D.A.V Pushpanjali Enclave participated in Sally Ride EarthKAM) program organized by space in Dwarka at The Indian Height
School today i.e 6.04.2017. Students of class viii A Primus Tanush Garg, Saakshat Jain , Sarthak Verma, Kanchi Kapur and Khushi Ohlan got a golden opportunity to participate in this interactive and transdisciplinary activity .
Not everyone can go to space, but everyone can
see Earth from an astronaut’s perspective with the (Sally Ride EarthKAM)
program.
Students can remotely control a digital camera mounted on the International
Space Station, and use it to take photographs of coastlines, mountain ranges
and other interesting features.
and enabled students and teachers to become researchers, focused on learning
about Earth from the unique perspective of space.
Students
got opportunity to engage themselves in extended investigations. Students learned the skills of scientific inquiry, openness
to new ideas and data that characterize science.
