Our Class 1 students turned into mini-scientists this week during a hands-on vocabulary experiment! Instead of just memorizing definitions, they put two big words to the test: absorb and waterproof.
Armed with water, and plenty of curiosity, the students discovered that tissue paper and chalk easily absorbed the water. Meanwhile, a smooth white pebble proved to be completely waterproof, sending the water droplets sliding right off. It was a fantastic and memorable way to bring science and language to life!
