· The Annular solar eclipse of the year will
take place on June 21 this year. t is not a regular one as it falls on the summer
solstice, i.e. the longest day and the shortest night of the year.
· People in some parts of the country will be able to see a 'Ring
of Fire' during the surya grahan, however, for most parts of the country, the
eclipse will be partial.
Precautions
· Never witness a solar eclipse with bare eyes.
· Avoid stepping out of house .
· Protective eyeglasses, binoculars, box projector or a telescope
is advised to be used to safely witness the phenomenon.
