ACTIVITY CLASS VI -MEASURING TEMPERATURES AND READING VOLUME OF LIQUIDS (10 May )

1 . Students of VI A measured the temperature of ice cold water, hot water and room temperature using Laboratory thermometer. Students also learnt different parts of the thermometer and labelled it.

2. Students learnt to use a graduated cylinder to measure the volume of water. They noted the value of lower meniscus to get an accurate value.  

The activity was followed by 5.3 worksheet in learners book.

scientific interaction program for inspiring students on 6th May 2019

Today class VI got a golden opportunity  to join scientific interaction programme 

Dr. Koushik Chaterjee, Doctoral Candidate at the University of Amsterdam was invited for interaction. He worked with the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) theory team, which helped to interpret the recently released black hole image using multiple simulations..

The topic of the interaction was “First Ever Picture of Black Hole

CLASS ASSEMBLY V A 06.05.2019

CLASS  VA  presented their assembly on athletics day . World athletics day is celebrated on 5 th may every year to promote sports activities in schools and colleges. Students presented a skit when the dictator of care puts end to game and players had to alternate jobs. "Khelo India" song was sung by choir group. A thought for the day both in Hindi and English was spoken by students. National News and Weather report were presented by students . Students also asked quiz questions to other class students to enhance the learning of the prayer content by all the assembly students.
