CLASS V STUDENTS MAKING

CLASS V STUDENTS REVISING THE TOPICS OF UNIT 3 AND UNIT 4 OF LIFE CYCLE OF BUTTERFLY, LIFE CYCLE OF FROG BY MAKING SPIRALS AND MOULDING CLAY MODELS .

STUDENTS ALSO REVISED THE TOPIC OF FOOD CHAINS IN ECOSYSTEM BY ARRANGING THE VARIOUS CUT OUTS OF PRODUCERS ,AND CONSUMERS IN CORRECT ORDER. .

GROUP ACTIVITY - ON COMBINED SEPARATION CLASS VI

Students of class vi spent todays science period in the new activity area doing a brain storming activity of combined separation in groups of five students each. The topic was related to unit 6 separation of substances. Each group was given a mixture with different components .Students had to think and write the correct separation method with the special property chosen to identify the correct method in their scrap file . They also made the related diagram with proper labellings .

It brought efficient learning experiences. Students were actively involved both mentally and physically. Students will retain the content for longer duration.

SPACE WORKSHOP- FIRST SESSION

SPACE WORKSHOP

Space workshops first session was held in the school premises D.A.V Pushpanjali on 29AUG 2016.

Workshop started with brief introduction of space vehicle and three Laws of Motion given by Newton.Students were very interactive with the instructor.Then the students had a hands on activity to construct their own rocket using plastic bottles,tape,paper cone and paper fins .Finally they all were ready for the launch of their rocket in open ground . Principal Madam Rashmi Raj Biswal ,School Coordinator Anjali Bajaj,School Administrative Head Mr Pradeep , Monika madam, Cbse i coordinator Jyotsana madam all witnessed the event and encouraged the students . Students of class VA , VI A ,VIIA enthusiastically participated in the event and launched their rockets.

It was thrilling and fun filled activity .Students are eagerly waiting for second session of the workshop.

GLIMPSE OF FRENCH WORKSHOP

Our school organised an interactive French workshop with Mr. Deepak Verma , a well trained French resource person ON 24th August 2016.
It was an enriching experience for the children.Various interesting French activities were taken up .

Children were engaged with French songs, which became the medium of learning French vocabulary, verbs and pronunciation. Children were In tune with the song, they were enjoying and were trying to understand the song, also they were asked to paint the song. The outcome was worth appreciating.

A very interesting, thrilling and enthusiastic environment existed.
The session ended up with a great success.

HAWAN CEREMONY IN SCHOOL

Hawan ceremony was organised in school as there is addition of activity area on terrace . This was dedicated by Principal Rashmi Raj madam to the school students . She was extremely happy to handover the activity area to students and cautioned them to be extra careful on the terrace while activity.

INTERHOUSE ELOCUTION COMPETITION RESULT ,23rd AUGUST 2016

Students of class vii cbse-i participated in Inter House Elocution Competition organised in school on the Topic ALLEGIANCE TO NATION . All the students of the class prepared and participated with enthusiasm .
Mrs Sonia Sharma mother of Pranjal sharma of class V A and meenakshi sharma mam were the judges of the competition.Following students were winners of the competition .
