HAPPY DUSSEHRA

Vijayadashami (Nava Ratri)
Dussehra festival is derived from Sanskrit language which
means (Dush- hara) Dush is the name of the evil
and hara means defeat. So, on a brief defeating the evil is
celebrated as Dussehra. This festival also includes the day on
which Lord Sri Rama killed ten headed Ravanasura. In
addition to this, Mahisasura mardini is the powerful form of
goddess durga who has killed the evil demons.
Dussehra is the culmination of the mantra, sadhana and havan, to  invoke these energies to aid creation and
realise the divinity within to help slay your demons.
Slaughter your ego, and elevate the
spirituality within you. Become Rama, Not Ravana.

Because no matter how vicious the Evil is, Goodness within you will always be able to let you win over not only 10, but hundred such evil skulls.

Celebrate Dussehra Heartily and lift the
goodness inside you !

PHOTOGRAPHS OF EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO DELHI METRO MUSEUM

Students of Class I-VI CBSE -i visited Delhi Metro museum today as part of the curriculum. The Museum has an extensive section on the construction of the Metro and the problems encountered during the process, including the story behind the construction of technological marvels such as the Chawri Bazaar Metro station, which is the second deepest Metro station in the world, India's first extra-dosed bridge. A model of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), a "tooth" taken from a TBM, soil samples collected from around the city and helmets of different colours used at construction sites form part of the Museum.

The technological features of the Metro system such as the Automatic Train Control System, Automatic Fare Collection system, round-the-clock activities of various departments, features friendly for the physically challenged, actual Metro rails and Over Head Equipment (OHE) to supply power are described in the Museum. It has an account of the first day of Metro's operation when about 1.2 million people queued up for a ride at six stations, forcing DMRC to issue a public appeal asking commuters to defer joyrides.

The Museum has two touch screen computers that play the DMRC corporate movie and animations describing the way tunnel boring machines and launching girders used in elevated construction work. Mannequins wearing the different uniforms worn by operations and construction staff, along with brief descriptions of these, a model of the Metro train, models of stations, share certificates and close-circuit television camera which visitors can use are included.

International day of girl 11 OCT

International Day of the Girl Child is an international observance day declared by the United Nations; it is also called the Day of the Girl and the International Day of the Girl. October 11, 2012, was the first Day of the Girl. The observation supports more opportunity for girls and increases awareness of gender inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender. This inequality includes areas such as right to education/access to education, nutrition, legal rights, medical care, and protection from discrimination, violence against women and unfree child marriage.
The International Day of the Girl Child initiative began as a project of Plan International, a non-governmental organization that operates worldwide. The idea for an international day of observance and celebration grew out of Plan International's Because I Am a Girl campaign, which raises awareness of the importance of nurturing girls globally and in developing countries in particular.
