VISIT TO NATIONAL SCIENCE MUSEUM ON 14TH JULY 2016
The visit was a fun filled learning experience. It was an Education in itself.
The Speaking Statue that works with the projection of light,i.e;when light falls on the statue it appears that it is speaking was superb. We saw a film on agricultural festivals in India in 30 seater auditorium .Children`s section in the basement had 2 fresh water and one marine aquarium which were depicting the Aquatic life beautifully. The Marine aquarium established in collaboration with the Central Marine fisheries institute is rare of its kind which constitutes of the species which live in the sea. It is made up of the concentration of sea,i.e; the ph value is calculated and the fish are feeded on live worms.Interactive touch screen kiosk helped to give detailed information of the specimens . Many new topics of learning were Hydroponics,Aeroponics, Mulching , Bio fertilizers and many more interesting topics . It was well worth and a day spent was utilized in the best way possible .
