class V seed germination under different conditions

Class V A Students studied structure of seed by soaking gram seed  and bean seeds in the class.They observed micropyle in different types of seeds .Students could easily observe and tell difference in  moist and dry seeds .Function of each part of seed was learnt . Students also observed one cotyledon and two cotyledon seeds found in our homes . 

Students also learnt meaning of seed germination and  

 conditions needed for seed germination .They kept three sets of seed for germination one without moisture , second without air by dipping it under water  and third in refrigerator that lacks appropriate temperature .This developed their scientific temperament . Many students are performing  same activities at their home also.
