Earth Day Celebration 2025

Earth Day Celebration Report
The Earth Day celebration was a resounding success, with students and faculty coming together to promote sustainability and environmental awareness. The event featured a variety of activities, including:

Activities:
1. *Fashion Show*: Students showcased their creativity by designing outfits using reusable materials like old clothes, plastic bags, and fabric scraps. The fashion show highlighted the importance of reducing waste and promoting sustainable fashion.
2. *Yoga Session*: A yoga session was conducted to promote physical and mental well-being while emphasizing the connection between human health and the health of the planet.
3. *Song Performance*: Students performed songs that conveyed messages about environmental conservation, sustainability, and the importance of protecting our planet.
4. *Pledge for Sustainable Living*: Participants took a pledge to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives, such as reducing energy consumption, using public transport, and minimizing waste.

The Earth Day celebration was a successful event that promoted sustainability, creativity, and community engagement. It inspired participants to take action and make a positive impact on the environment.


Observing plant and Animal cell under microscope 6A

Students observed and compared the structures of plant (onion) and animal (cheek) cells under a microscope. This exercise helped students understand the differences between plant and animal cells.

Observations:
*Onion Cells:*
1. *Cell Wall*: Visible, rigid structure surrounding each cell.
2. *Cell Shape*: Rectangular, brick-like shape.

*Cheek Cells:*
1. *Cell Shape*: Irregular, rounded shape 

Comparison:
1. *Cell Wall*: Present in onion cells, absent in cheek cells.
2. *Cell Shape*: Onion cells are rectangular, while cheek cells are irregular.
3. *Vacuoles*: Larger and more prominent in lant cells.
This exercise helped students understand the structural differences between plant and animal cells, highlighting the unique features of each cell type.

Verbal presentation on Uses of Artificial Satellite 🛰️📡 Stage 5


The verbal presentations on the uses of satellites  was done by stage 5  students while learning Unit 5.2 in their science curriculum.Presentations were informative and engaging, showcasing the students' understanding of this important technology. Some students used visual aids like models, diagrams to support their presentations.
The exercise helped students develop their communication skills, think critically about satellite applications, and appreciate the significance of satellites in our daily lives as communication satellites, space exploration,Earth observation, navigation satellites, weather forecasting.
