HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY

The 69th Republic Day parade  saw participants  not only from the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy, but  also showcased over 700 students across the guest countries performing at the event.
And for the first time, a newly-formed all-woman bikers contingent of the Border Security Force (BSF)  made its debut on Rajpath on Republic Day.

The 27-member BSF women 'daredevils' squad, named 'Seema Bhavani',  showcased their stunts and acrobatics on their 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycles.

class activity water filter in a bottle class v and class iv




Class IV A  & VA  Primus made water filter  to learn how the under ground water becomes free of suspended impurities  and dust. This water is not potable as it contains germs . It  must be boiled for 20 minutes to kill germs .
This activity  was enjoyed by all the students .

 Students of class VA Primus  performed a group activity depicting layers of atmosphere on chart . They beautifully presented the special features in each layer and marked its ranges in kilometers. All students worked enthusiastically  and   as a team .

Diagram  Filteration  done in laboratory using filter paper was  made in scrap file. 
Sample paper first sheet is given Do QUES 1 to 05 in class work note book.

 Water Filter was made  using cotton, fine sand , coarse sand , gravel in old plastic bottle.
Layers of atmosphere diagram was also made in scrap file.

Role play of body systems Digestive , respiratory and circulatory system was done in class.
Prepare for  Nervous , Excretory and Skeletal system for role play in class tomorrow.
NOTE -Fabric from fibre chapter will be part of the final exam .

Waste is any substance which is discarded after primary use, or it is worthless, defective and of no use.
 Examples include municipal solid waste (household trash/refuse),wastewater (such as sewage, which contains bodily wastes (faeces and urine) and surface runoff) and others
"Domestic waste"  consist of combustible materials, such as paper, cardboard, wood
Solid waste comprising of garbage and rubbish (such as bottles, cans, clothing, compost, disposables, food packaging, food scraps, newspapers and magazines, and yard trimmings) that originates from private homes or apartments. 





Types of solid waste. c) Biomedical waste or hospital waste as infectious waste. Municipal solid waste consists of household waste, construction and demolition debris, sanitation residue, and waste from streets.
Examples of Biodegradable materials, often referred to as “bio-waste”, include the following:
·         • Human and animal waste.
·         • Plant products, wood, paper, food waste, leaves, grass clippings.
·         • Remains from the death of living creatures.
Biodegradable items decompose or break down naturally. ...
 Large volumes of non-biodegradable waste take up excess waste and are potentially damaging to the environment.

Non-biodegradable items are items that cannot decay or be broken down by living organisms. ... Another types of non-biodegradable waste which can be again used at homes are aluminum cans, bottles, plastic products, metal scraps, glasses, grocery bags or plastic bags and Styrofoam.
