Focus :Animal Rights

Target point of the Project : Everything alive be it an animal, bird, insect or plant needs to be treated with kindness. Every living being has the right to obtain food and shelter and to protect their young ones. They deserve kindness from human beings. We must not be
cruel to these creatures because they cannot express their pain.

Students will learn to treat the lplants and animals more kindly and carefully.
lStudents will be taught not to take very young animals and birds such as puppies, kittens, parrots and rabbits from their mothers. They need their mothers too like humans do.
lStudents will learn how to take care of their pets.

I don't believe that children are born with
empathy. It is something they learn by seeing it
modeled by others.

For this activity she prepared a PPT(Power Point Presentation) on Over coming Stress and aggression in this competative world with 20-25 slides and a write-up of the same. It was an
individual entry.
Mrs.Vaishali Joshi Mehta - Director Tipping point
(NGO) judged all the entries and Tripti Deol won Third prize worth Rs.500.

VISIT TO SCIENCE PARK
Today class VI students visited Science park in D.A.V Pushpanjali and learned about Transmission of sound through air ,concept of Simple Machines to reduce human effort and working of pinhole camera . Students were amazed and thrilled to do these science activities . This park will help them learn many more concepts in form of game.
