Independence Day and Janmashtami were celebrated together in DAV Pushpanjali Cambridge wing with patriotic and religious fervor.
Principals highlighted the significance of India's Independence Day, commemorating the nation's freedom from British rule on August 15, 1947 and also spoke about Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
Students of different classes performed cultural programs, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits depicting freedom fighters and Lord Krishna's story and dance.
