Shadow activity - Making Silhouette, Tracing human Shadows and Animal cutouts

Students first made the outline of shadows of the their body in different styles in open sun . Thus silhouette were prepared .Students also prepared shadows using animal stick figures  in open sun lit area .These activities helped them to learn all the characteristics of shadow  regarding  colour of shadow ,direction of shadow formation .
They also learnt shadow formation requires three important things a source of light , an opaque body and a screen .
