Students of class vi primus learned the chapter light and shadows doing activities as
ACTIVITY 1 -To learn characteristics of shadow using different shapes of object and a torch to make shadows on screen (wall). They concluded shape of shadow is same as the shape of opaque object but is always black in colour.
ACTIVITY 2 They observed beautiful pattern of coloured objects using kaleidoscope .
ACTIVITY 3 Students prepared Periscope and observed inverted and diminished image of the object.
ACTIVITY 4 Students also performed activity to learn light travels in straight line .
