WorkShop on Physical ,Mental Health and first Aid by Ms Jyoti Bhardwaj

With an aim to nurture skill of first aid , ways to maintain physical and mental health  in its students  DAV  Pushpanjali  Pitampura organised a workshop  with great enthusiasm .  Ms Jyoti Bhardwaj  was resource person  for the same . She is nursing officer in Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital with 14 years experience in Pediatric ,medicine  maternity and OT department.

 As a part of the workshop  students interacted well  with the resource and discussed the harms of mobile phone to them. They learnt about the soldiers in human body that are  the white blood cells to help  maintain immunity in persons body .This interturn  needs balanced diet instead of  junk food . She asked children to adopt healthy eating habits . Students also got opportunity to  learn first aid provided during sprain , burns , insect bite , snake bite .They all enjoyed hand washing technique taught using Mnemonics SUMAN K. Students were full of vigour and extitement till the end of the seesion .
